At the journey, we put kids first! And we believe that kids should be fully involved in the worship experience. That's why you'll often see young children participating in worship through scripture reading, liturgical dancing, singing, and even serving communion.
Each week we have a Children's Time aimed at kids of all ages by one of our children's ministers. In this Children's Time, immediately before the message, Donna, Sonny, Sarah, James or another engaging kid-worker will speak from the Bible to kids in a way that they will understand. All children are welcome during this time!
Nursery Care is available on site at The Well from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm each Sunday, so if you attend a Sunday School class or need to take a shuttle to the Main Campus, you are more than welcome to check your children into the nursery and then pick them up after you return and worship at the journey. All of our nursery workers are rigorously screened and trained, and all who work with kids have gone through the Safe Sanctuary training. MDUMC understands that children are our most precious assets and operates under policies and procedures designed to keep children safe and well-cared for.
Please feel free to give the nursery workers your cell phone number so we can contact you while your child is in the nursery.
